6TH ANNUAL ISLAND REGGAE FESTIVAL

The Terri Creatives International Media Crew have just returned from the 6th Annual Island Reggae Festival (IRF) held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose CA.

We had the amazing opportunity to head over & capture some amazing images and video footage of some of the worlds most renowned reggae artists who performed out at San Jose's largest reggae festival!

The team consisted of 3 international artists: (SYD)Terri Smith -Head Creative and Drone Operator

(NYC) Andrew Morgan -Videographer & (LA) Daniella Lelo-Photography.

The team set out at around 11am in the scorching 34 degree heat bound for Santa Clara County Fairgrounds alongside the Kahoy Collection crew, who were also hosting a vendor at the festival. It was the first time we had ever worked with the IRF so we were a little unsure what to expect. When we arrived to the Fairgrounds the carpark and entry lines were filling vigorously!!

This was a 'family friendly' event so there were people from all walks of life showing up for the experience which was really awesome to see! We obtained our media passes from the helpful IRF staff at the media gate and we rolled into the mix of it all!!

The heat was extreme! That feel good reggae bass was blaring through the Fairgrounds, families were settling with their island mats and umbrellas, drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was banging! We were all super excited to set out and do what we had come do!

We were very fortunate to meet and work with some of the top names in the reggae industry such as UB40, Fiji (George Veikoso), Spawnbreezie, Conkarah, Anuhea, Sammy J & Tribal Theory just to name a few, not to mention the other media crews, radio stations & promoters we rubbed shoulders with such as Rude Bwoy 3ntertainment,

Big Body Radio, Island Block Radio, iheart Media, The BBQ Show, Irie Mag and so many more thriving platforms!
